O crescimento dos complexos agroindustriais na microrregião do sudoeste de Goiás e seus reflexos no desenvolvimento regional

Abstract

Resumo: Goiás, com a tecnificação e a modernização da agricultura, passou por transformações na sua estrutura econômica a partir da década de 1970, quando o Estado instituiu uma agenda de políticas de investimentos para o campo, buscando conciliar os interesses do setor agrário, dos grandes e médios produtores e do setor industrial, formado pelo capital nacional e internacional. A integração do interior e o equipamento do território com o crescimento e espalhamento de infraestrutura é que permitiram a constituição de um complexo agroindustrial e integraram a agricultura à indústria, articulando a expansão das fronteiras agrícolas. A microrregião do sudoeste de Goiás foi uma das regiões que mais se beneficiaram com a agenda de investimentos, conseguindo atrair agroindústrias de diversos setores, dando um salto em seu desenvolvimento socioeconômico. Nesse cenário ganham destaque as culturas de exportação, e a microrregião se transforma com a expansão e surgimento de novos complexos agroindustriais. Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar o crescimento dos complexos agroindustriais na microrregião do sudoeste de Goiás e seus reflexos no desenvolvimento regional, com destaque para os municípios de Jataí, Mineiros e Rio Verde, que são os mais populosos e juntos perfazem 45% da área da Região em estudo. Foram analisados o desenvolvimento agrícola e o crescimento da microrregião do sudoeste de Goiás após a década de1970, com ênfase na década de 2000. O estudo se desenvolve a partir de revisão bibliográfica e análise de documentos e trabalhos acadêmicos, procurando mostrar os efeitos da industrialização na economia da Região e os indicadores sociais da população. Conclui-se que a modernização e a tecnificação agrícola ainda não alcançaram as condições necessárias para o desenvolvimento social, ambiental e economicamente sustentável, mas poderão ser ainda alcançadas com políticas públicas voltadas para tal fim.

Abstract: In Goiás the technification and the modernization of agriculture undergoes changes in its economic structure from the 1970s, when the state establishes an agenda of investment policies to the field that reconcile the interests of the agrarian sector, the large and medium producers and industrial, trained by national and international capital. The integration of the interior, the equipment of the territory with the growth and spread of infrastructure that allowed the establishment of the Agroindustrial Complex and integrated agriculture industry who articulated the expansion of the agricultural frontier. Goiás micro-region of the Southwest was one of the regions most benefited from these projects, managing to attract agricultural industries from various sectors and taking a leap in its socioeconomic development and in this scenario is highlighted export crops, where the micro turns with the expansion and emergence of new agro-industrial complex. This study aimed to identify the growth of Agroindustrial Complex in the micro-region of the Southwest of Goiás and its effects on regional development, especially in the municipalities of Jataí, Miners and Rio Verde, which are the most populated and together make up 45% of the area the study area. Were analyzed agricultural development and growth of Southwest Goiás micro-region from the decade de1970 with emphasis in the 2000s, from a literature review, analysis of documents and scholarly works, trying to show the effects of industrialization on the economy region and social indicators of the population. However, it is understood that modernization and agricultural technification not yet reached the necessary conditions for a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable development and may still be achieved with public policies aimed at this purpose.
