Abstract: | Starting with the concepts that highlight the characteristics of the information society, in which knowledge has become the most important property of companies, it is presented in this paper, an organizational competence certification model, together with the development of a prototype which its processes. The proposal consists of a gradual evaluation: individual, departmental and global, which will demonstrate competencies of the organization and portray the intangible potential available on the company, contributing to qualitative information that signs the organization’s performance. The fundamental concepts, processes and characteristics that make up the model will be talked about; their assumptions and contributions will be highlighted. © 2015, Universidade de Taubate.
