Estudo sobre as principais caracteristicas da obesidade infantil

Abstract

Resumo: A obesidade é considerada uma doença grave causada por fatores diversos como genética e estilo de vida, que vem afetando significativa parte da população mundial, em diferentes faixas etárias, em homens e mulheres e doenças secundárias, pesquisas vem mostrando ainda há lacunas preocupantes sobre estudos e discussões expandidas entre comunidade médica, população e políticas públicas. Assim, e um aumento significativo em crianças. Entretanto embora esta doença cause transtorno a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo primário realizar uma revisão na literatura nacional e estrangeira sobre a obesidade infantil. Delineando seus objetivos secundários em: descrever os conceitos gerais de obesidade; identificar na literatura os fatores desencadeantes da obesidade infantil e levantar os tratamentos oferecidos para mitigação da obesidade infantil. O tipo de pesquisa foi revisão de literatura de caráter analítico com abordagem qualitativa e critérios de inclusão/exclusão de fontes com no máximo 10 anos. Para composição histórica o limite foi nulo. A base de dados foram livros, monografias, teses, dissertações, relatórios técnicos, artigos científicos e sites das áreas relacionadas ao tema. Como resultado observou-se que as causas das obesidades ainda não estão totalmente diagnosticadas, prevalecendo uma tendência nos estudos genéticos e tipo de alimentação como fatores desencadeantes, a amamentação foi um tema com significativo número de trabalhos em especial em revistas e periódicos especializados. A pesquisa revelou que pouco ainda se discute sobre fatores psicossomáticos da obesidade infantil bem como sobre questões sociais ligadas a ela. O que sugere maiores estudos e acompanhamento estatístico. Embora tenha havido literaturas especificas sobre políticas públicas de tratamento este fator ainda se apresentou como um grande desafio já que envolve questões secundárias como mercado de consumo e comportamento alimentar.

Abstract: Obesity is considered a serious disease caused by diverse factors such as genetics and lifestyle, which has been affecting significant part of the world population, in different age groups, in men and women, and a significant increase in children. However, although this disease causes secondary disorders and pathologies, research has shown that there are still worrying gaps about expanded studies and discussions between the medical community, the patient and public policies. Thus, the present research had as primary objective to perform a review in the national and foreign literature on childhood obesity. Outlining their secondary objectives in: Describing the general concepts of obesity; To identify in the literature the triggering factors of childhood obesity and to raise the treatments offered for the mitigation of childhood obesity. The type of research was a review of analytical literature with a qualitative approach and inclusion/exclusion criteria of sources with a maximum of 10 years. For historical composition the limit was null. The database was books, monographs, theses, dissertations, technical reports, scientific articles and websites of the areas related to the theme. As a result, it was observed that the causes of the obesities are not yet fully diagnosed, prevailing a tendency in genetic studies and type Feeding as triggering factors, breastfeeding was a topic with a significant number of studies especially in journals and specialized journals. The research revealed that little is still discussed about psychosomatic factors of childhood obesity as well as on social issues related to it. This suggests further studies and statistical follow-up. Although there have been specific literatures about public treatment policies, this factor still presents itself as a major challenge since it involves secondary issues such as consumer market and food behavior.
