A vivência da conjugalidade nas diferentes fases do ciclo vital : relatos de casais na fase madura

Abstract

Resumo: O tema que norteou esta pesquisa é a vivência da conjugalidade nas diferentes fases do ciclo vital a partir de relatos de casais na fase madura. A família se desenvolve em fases dentro de um ciclo que se inicia quando a família se forma, chamada fase de aquisição e segue até a fase última. Dentro do tema proposto, tem-se a seguinte questão de Pesquisa: Como os casais na fase madura vivenciaram a conjugalidade nas diferentes fases do ciclo vital? Tem-se como objetivo conhecer e analisar, a partir de relatos de casais na fase madura, sobre como vivenciaram a conjugalidade: suas expectativas, desafios e planos nas diferentes fases do ciclo vital. Este estudo delimita-se a quatro casais na fase madura, que moram no Vale do Paraíba, região do Estado de São Paulo, sendo a pesquisa realizada pelo próprio aluno pesquisador, no segundo semestre de 2021. Esta pesquisa consiste em estudo de casos múltiplos, qualitativo, de nível exploratório e corte transversal. Ao final desta pesquisa compreendeu-se o processo da construção da conjugalidade e sua manutenção diante de vivências de conflitos e desafios na história do casal. Identificou-se os principais desafios enfrentados pelo casal em cada fase do ciclo vital: aquisição, adolescente e madura, os impactos sofridos, bem como formas de resolução utilizadas. O diálogo constituiu-se como elemento fundamental em todas as fases vividas sendo facilitador na adaptação à todas as fases.

Abstract: The theme that guided this research is the experience of conjugality in the distinct phases of the life cycle from the reports of couples in the mature phase. The family develops in phases within a cycle that begins when the family is formed, called the acquisition phase, until the last phase. Within the proposed theme, we have the following research question: How do couples in the mature phase experience conjugality in the distinct phases of the life cycle? The objective is to know and analyze, from the reports of couples in the mature phase, how they experienced conjugality: their expectations, challenges and plans in the distinct phases of the life cycle. This study is limited to four couples in the mature phase, who live in Vale do Paraíba, a region in the state of São Paulo. This research consists of multiple case study, qualitative, exploratory level and cross-sectional. At the end of this research, the process of the construction of conjugality and its maintenance in the face of experiences of conflicts and challenges in the history of the couple was understood. It identified the main challenges faced by the couple in each phase of the life cycle: acquisition, adolescence and maturity, the impacts suffered, as well as the forms of resolution used. Dialogue was a fundamental element in all phases experienced, being a facilitator in adapting to all phases.
