Marcela Temer nas charges : dialogismo e construção de sentidos

Abstract

Resumo: O tema desta dissertação é a forma como a figura feminina, representada pela primeira-dama Marcela Temer, é construída nas charges, nos primeiros dois anos desde a chegada de Michel Temer à Presidência da República. A charge, gênero discursivo da esfera midiática que alia elementos verbais e imagéticos, como todo gênero discursivo, revela posicionamentos e dialoga com outros enunciados que circulam na sociedade. Após o impeachment da primeira presidente mulher da história do Brasil, em um momento de crescentes conquistas femininas, houve uma reorganização dos papéis de poder no país com a substituição presidencial de Dilma Rousseff por Michel Temer, até então o vice-presidente. Nesse cenário, o cargo de primeira-dama, vago até aquele momento, foi ocupado por Marcela Temer. Com isso, a figura feminina deixou o cargo principal da República e retomou seu papel tradicional: o de primeira-dama. O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar no gênero discursivo charge as construções de sentidos nas representações feitas sobre a primeira-dama Marcela Temer nas charges. A pesquisa se baseia na perspectiva dialógica bakhtiniana, bem como nos estudos sobre verbo-visualidade. O corpus do trabalho é constituído por sete charges de Amarildo, chargista capixaba, que retratam a primeira-dama Marcela Temer, publicadas no blog do Amarildo e no blog do Noblat, no site do jornal O Globo, entre 12 de maio de 2016, início do governo Temer, e 12 de maio de 2018. A pesquisa se inscreve na área de estudos da Linguística Aplicada como contribuição para o desenvolvimento do estudo das práticas discursivas da sociedade, bem como de práticas de leitura e interpretação de charges para o ambiente escolar e desenvolve-se pela análise dialógica do discurso das charges. Os resultados desta dissertação constatam como as vozes sociais que compõem as charges atuam na construção de sentidos sobre a primeira-dama em diálogo com outros discursos circulantes na sociedade, reforçando a concepção da linguagem como dialógica. Assim, destaca a relevância do gênero discursivo charge - um meio de compreensão das relações de sujeitos e sentidos como relações discursivas -, e o apresenta de modo sugestivo para o trabalho docente com enunciados verbo-visuais midiáticos.

Abstract: The theme of this dissertation is the way the female figure, represented by First Lady Marcela Temer, is built on the cartoons, in the first two years since Michel Temer arrived at the Presidency of the Republic. The charge, discursive genre of the media sphere that combines verbal and imaginary elements, like all discursive genres, reveals positions and dialogues with other statements that circulate in society. Following the impeachment of the first female president of Brazil's history, at a time of increasing female conquest, there was a reorganization of the roles of power in the country with the replacement of Dilma Rousseff by Michel Temer, until then the vice president. In this scenario, the position of first lady, vague until that moment, was occupied by Marcela Temer. With this, the female figure left the main office of the Republic and resumed its traditional role: the first lady. The aim of this study was to investigate in the discursive genre the possible constructions of meanings in the representations made on the first lady Marcela Temer in the cartoons. The research is based on the Bakhtinian dialogic perspective, as well as on verb-visuality studies. The corpus of the work consists of seven cartoons of Amarildo, a Capixaba cartoonist, who portray First Lady Marcela Temer, published in the Amarildo blog and in the Noblat blog, on the website of the newspaper O Globo, between May 12, 2016, beginning of the Temer government, and May 12, 2018. The research is part of the study area of Applied Linguistics as a contribution to the development of the study of discursive practices of society, as well as practices of reading and interpretation of cartoons for the school environment and is developed by the dialogical analysis of the discourse of cartoons. The results of this dissertation show how the social voices that make up the cartoons act in the construction of senses about the first lady in dialogue with other circulating discourses in society, reinforcing the conception of language as dialogical. Thus, it highlights the relevance of the discursive genre charge - a means of understanding the relations of subjects and senses as discursive relations -, and presents it in a suggestive way for the teaching work with verbal-visual mediatic utterances.
