Síndrome de Irlen : implicações educacionais

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho tem como temática as implicações educacionais causadas pela Síndrome de Irlen, e as adaptações necessárias a serem realizadas para uma efetiva inclusão escolar dos alunos acometidos por esta síndrome apresentada. A falta de conhecimento e formação sobre o tema nas escolas é de fato uma realidade, e a partir disso surge a inquietação pela busca de conhecimento, para que assim o acesso e a permanência, com qualidade, dos alunos diagnosticados sejam garantidos. Portanto, trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de feição qualitativa, com o objetivo de analisar e refletir sobre o referencial teórico selecionado, apresentando as inferências sobre as práticas docentes diante alunos diagnosticados com a síndrome. Com o desejo de proporcionar melhor conforto durante a leitura aos alunos relacionados, foram confeccionadas réguas de leituras, sendo também utilizadas por outros alunos com dificuldades na aquisição de leitura e escrita. Analisando a história e os apontamentos legais referente a Educação Especial, ficou evidente a importância da disseminação desse conhecimento, bem como a busca por ferramentas de aprendizagem adequadas para esses alunos.

Abstract: The present work has as its theme the educational implications caused by Irlen's Syndrome, and the necessary adaptations to be made for an effective school inclusion of students affected by this syndrome. The lack of knowledge and training on the subject in schools is in fact a reality, and from this comes the concern for the search for knowledge, so that the access and permanence, with quality, of diagnosed students is guaranteed. Therefore, this is a bibliographical research, of a qualitative nature, with the objective of analyzing and reflecting on the selected theoretical framework, presenting the inferences about teaching practices in front of students diagnosed with the syndrome. With the desire to provide better comfort during reading to related students, reading rules were made, which are also used by other students with difficulties in reading and writing acquisition. Analyzing the history and legal notes regarding Special Education, the importance of disseminating this knowledge was evident, as well as the search for appropriate learning tools for these students.
